Primary Therapist

We are seeking a part-time Primary Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary treatment team at Monte Nido Manhattan Day Treatment. As a Primary Therapist, you will work with adults seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions
- Serve as a liaison with families and outpatient providers
- Interact with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management
- Participate in discharge and aftercare planning
- Provide therapeutic meal support and model a healthy relationship with food
- Provide safe, empathetic, and affirming care for each client and their unique circumstance based on the client's intersecting identities
- Master's degree in clinical counseling or related discipline, at minimum
- State license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC)
- Prior experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is helpful
