Primary Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a part-time Primary Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary treatment team at Monte Nido Manhattan Day Treatment.

About the Role

This is a part-time position, working 12pm-8pm, 3 times a week, including Fridays. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in clinical counseling or a related field, and be licensed or license-eligible in a counseling field.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients with eating disorders
  • Serve as a liaison with families and outpatient providers
  • Interact with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management
  • Participate in discharge and aftercare planning
  • Provide therapeutic meal support and model a healthy relationship with food
  • Provide safe, empathetic, and affirming care for each client based on their unique circumstances
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in clinical counseling or related discipline
  • State license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field
  • Prior experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is helpful
  • Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices
