Job Title: Registered Nurse - Electrophysiology Lab

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Clackamas, Oregon. As a member of our health care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our mission to provide exceptional health outcomes.

Job Summary:

The RN participates as a member of the health care team in delivering quality health care to patients, which supports Kaiser Permanente's mission, vision, and values. The RN provides a variety of nursing services both in person and by phone utilizing the nursing process and leadership skills to address acute and chronic needs of Health Plan members and other patients of the Kaiser Permanente Health Care Program.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides evidence-based, clinically competent nursing care in a culturally sensitive manner.
  • Plans, implements, manages, coordinates, and evaluates a plan of care across the care continuum.
  • Fosters and uses innovative thinking to create alternative solutions.
  • Applies effective oral and written communication skills in interacting with patients, families, and members of the health care team.
  • Recognizes the impact of systems on health care delivery.
  • Acts as an advocate for individuals and groups with unmet health needs.
  • Applies the knowledge and tools of continuous improvement in clinical practice and the delivery of health care.
Requirements:
  • Minimum two (2) years of RN experience in acute care or ambulatory care/clinic setting within the last five (5) years.
  • Two (2) years of experience in inpatient or outpatient cardiac unit.
  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
  • Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided).
  • Demonstrates clinical nursing and leadership skills.
  • Experience in acute care or critical care nursing that includes using the nursing process, critical thinking, problem solving, and effective communication.
  • Previous experience with population care/case management, triage, and advice.
  • Current or future bachelors degree in nursing or related field.
