Electrical Systems Installation and Maintenance

The Blue Collar Recruiter is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in compliance with local regulations and the National Electrical Code (NEC).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and control systems, ensuring compliance with local codes and NEC standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems.
  • Coordinate and supervise apprentice electricians, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, providing effective solutions to restore functionality.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in electrical systems technology.
  • Develop and implement efficient work methods and procedures to improve productivity and quality of work.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting a culture of respect, open communication, and teamwork.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an electrician.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including both high voltage and low voltage applications.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical problems.
  • Solid understanding of local regulations and NEC standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform duties requiring lifting, climbing, and working in various environments.
