Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in technical marketing initiatives through global customer interactions to promote our products and identify critical customer needs, utilizing insights to inform marketing strategies.
  • Create comprehensive Product Requirements Documents to guide the development of design specifications, addressing any conflicts between requirements and business expectations.
  • Participate in FPGA-based design prototyping to validate key features and functionalities, collaborating with design teams to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Lead the development of Applications Validation Plans, ensuring comprehensive coverage of potential edge cases.
  • Innovate valuable intellectual property by addressing unique customer challenges, assisting marketing in quantifying the value of such innovations.
  • Collaborate with key ASIC suppliers to align product development with market requirements.
  • Provide in-depth technical support and training to enhance the commercial success of our products, translating complex concepts for diverse audiences.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the power management sector.
  • Expertise in SIMPLIS or similar circuit simulation tools within a switching regulator context.
  • Strong understanding of control loop theory and its application in power conversion.
  • Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) tools for thermal, electrical, and magnetic evaluations.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as C and Python.
  • Familiarity with PCB CAD tools for schematic design and layout.
  • Extensive experience with laboratory equipment, including network analyzers and oscilloscopes, along with automation of testing processes.
  • Proficient in data analysis using tools like Excel or JMP.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a willingness to travel internationally as required.

Success in this role hinges on the ability to translate market insights into product definitions that drive market adoption. Understanding customer nuances and motivating team members effectively is essential.
