Job Summary:

As a Reliability Engineering Lead at KLA, you will be responsible for leading reliability activities and best practices for new product development and sustaining product CIPs. You will participate in product life cycle management review meetings, train design engineering communities on reliability principles and techniques, and work with engineering, service, and manufacturing to develop reliability plans. You will also develop reliability block diagrams and allocation models, perform reliability data analyses, and implement software and tools to automate and simplify this analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in product life cycle management review meetings to ensure reliability is integrated into the product development process.
Train design engineering communities on reliability principles and techniques to ensure they have the necessary knowledge to design reliable products.
Work with engineering, service, and manufacturing to develop reliability plans that meet the needs of the business.
Develop reliability block diagrams and allocation models to identify potential reliability risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Perform reliability data analyses using WEIBULL, MTBF, MTBI, L10, L90, etc. to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Implement software and tools to automate and simplify reliability analysis and data collection.

Requirements:

MS in ME, Physics, or other relevant engineering discipline with 4+ years of experience in reliability engineering and analysis.
Experience with reliability of mechanical, opto-mechanical, and electronic systems reliability.
Good hands-on skills desirable.
Experience with reliability analysis tools such as Reliasoft and Blocksim.
