This position requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational abilities, and a strong understanding of regulatory standards.

Compensation:

$15 - $20/hr

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess mortgage applications for thoroughness and precision
  • Gather and structure necessary documentation
  • Authenticate applicant details, including employment, income, and credit history
  • Engage with loan officers and underwriters
  • Guarantee adherence to industry regulations and internal policies
  • Oversee timelines to ensure processing deadlines are met
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and respond to inquiries
  • Address discrepancies and challenges throughout the application process
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on loan documentation
  • Calculate debt-to-income ratios and assess loan eligibility
  • Prepare loan documentation for underwriting evaluation
  • Stay informed about current lending guidelines and regulations
  • Update borrowers on the status of their loan applications
  • Manage document dispatch, including HOI/Payoffs, Appraisals, and Pest inspections
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in mortgage processing
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mortgage products, underwriting procedures, and regulations
  • Exceptional organizational and communication capabilities
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
