Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Billing Analyst to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Billing Analyst, you will be responsible for processing orders, verifying insurance eligibility, and obtaining authorizations for durable medical equipment and supplies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process accounts receivable for equipment and services rendered
  • Verify the completeness and accuracy of orders prior to claims submission
  • Process monthly patient statements and initiate collections
  • Review updates on insurance and governmental guidelines and regulations
  • Process physician orders and check insurance coverage and eligibility
  • Provide financial quotes to patients and obtain insurance authorizations
  • Triangulate incoming faxes and divert to appropriate personnel or file documents in patients' records
  • Monitor and work to resolve issues in software workqueues
  • Provide customer service for all billing issues
  • Contribute to cost containment initiatives
Requirements
  • Minimum high school education
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer experience
  • Excellent customer satisfaction skills
  • Medical billing certification preferred
