Sr. HVAC Designer (Contract)

Job Summary:

The Sr. HVAC Designer (Contract) plays a critical role in supporting the continued success of our customers by delivering high-quality HVAC system designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop 3D models of shipboard HVAC systems using ShipConstructor.
  • Collaborate with experienced HVAC system designers and engineers to ensure design accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop 2D construction drawings of shipboard HVAC systems.
  • Work closely with the Fincantieri Marinette Marine (FMM) team to ensure design meets their requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in HVAC system design.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable past experience using ShipConstructor to 3D model shipboard HVAC systems.
  • Experience developing 2D construction drawings of shipboard HVAC systems a plus.
  • Local to Marinette, Wisconsin.
  • Ability to work onsite at Fincantieri Marinette Marine (FMM).
  • Will consider all experience levels.

Preferred Skills:

  • Efficient 3D modeling and design of HVAC/R systems.
  • Excellent electronic communications skills.
  • Proficient AutoCAD skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Working knowledge of shipboard systems and equipment.
  • Familiarity with ship design and terminology.

Security Clearance:

Proof of U.S. citizenship required. Ability to gain U.S. Security Clearance.

Education and/or Experience:

Must have demonstrable past experience using ShipConstructor to 3D model shipboard HVAC systems. Will consider all experience levels.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
