Job Title: State Board for Educator Certification Manager

The Texas Education Agency is seeking a highly skilled and experienced State Board for Educator Certification Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Operations department, you will play a critical role in managing the administrative rulemaking program to adopt in rule public education policies of the State Board for Educator Certification.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the administrative rulemaking program to adopt in rule public education policies of the State Board for Educator Certification.
  • Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate detailed processes and timelines for rulemaking.
  • Collaborate with teams in the Educator Preparation, Certification, and Enforcement Department to provide solutions and design comprehensive training.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor processes for the ongoing, four-year rule review process of SBEC rules.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • At least four (4) years of experience in program planning, development, and implementation.
  • Experience with administrative rulemaking at a state agency is preferred.
