Job Summary

Under the guidance of experienced professionals, the Biomedical Equipment Technician I will assist in the installation, calibration, inspection, preventative maintenance, and repair of basic patient care equipment. This includes patient monitoring, surgical devices, infusion devices, and other related technical equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the installation, calibration, and inspection of medical equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repair of medical equipment
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure equipment is functioning properly
  • Document equipment maintenance and repair activities
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and equipment
Requirements

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in biomedical or electrical technology. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3 years of related experience in the repair and maintenance of medical equipment
  • An associate degree in Biomedical or Electrical Technology or equivalent military training
  • Familiarity with medical technology and specialized training in medical technology service and support
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
