Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting students throughout registration and course adjustment periods;
  • Facilitating informative sessions aimed at prospective students;
  • Evaluating academic transcripts and making admissions determinations;
  • Responding to inquiries regarding new student enrollment;
  • Conducting outreach visits to educational institutions and career events;
  • Managing community inquiries through multiple communication channels;
  • Supporting faculty with student-related concerns;
  • Contributing to the annual job fair hosted by the institution;
  • Advising student organizations; and
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of technical education and college programs;
  • Familiarity with financial aid systems;
  • Understanding of applicable state and federal regulations;
  • Experience in budget management;
  • Proficiency in computer systems and relevant software;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • An Associate's degree *and* three (3) years of relevant professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Public Administration, or a related discipline, accompanied by at least three years of customer service experience;
  • Previous experience with Banner software.

Salary and Benefits:

Compensation will be determined based on educational background and experience. Employee benefits include paid state holidays, annual and sick leave, in addition to the State of Georgia Flexible Benefits package.
