POSITION SUMMARY:

The role of the Evening Bakery Sales Specialist is to promote and sell Harmons' exquisite bakery offerings while delivering outstanding customer service. This individual will guide customers in selecting the perfect bakery items to meet their preferences and needs. Responsibilities include packaging and labeling products, restocking shelves, preparing items for the next day, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Adhere to established departmental and store protocols.
  • Guarantee the quality and freshness of all bakery products.
  • Maintain optimal product variety and inventory levels.
  • Verify pricing accuracy and signage for all items, focusing on promotional products.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the bakery area in accordance with company standards.
  • Assist customers with special orders and cake requests.
  • Clean and store baking equipment and utensils.
  • Provide exemplary customer service to all patrons.
  • Accurately package and label bakery items.
  • Restock bakery displays and assist with inventory management upon delivery.
  • Minimize waste by following production guidelines and managing product rotation.
  • Support managers, bakers, and decorators as needed.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
  • Prepare cookie dough and bake various items.
  • Assist customers with personalized cake decorations.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position involves regular interaction with both customers and team members, requiring effective communication and collaboration.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • Ability to operate bakery equipment, including ovens and labeling machines.
  • Current Food Handler's Permit.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
