Key Responsibilities:


Engage in internal audits of the Americas Global Markets sectors, collaborating closely with the Global Credit / Financing Risk Subject Matter Expert.

Assess and evaluate controls concerning credit / financing risks within the Americas Global Markets sector, benchmarking these controls against other regions, identifying value-added enhancements, and assisting in the communication of findings to senior management.

Conduct risk evaluations and implement ongoing monitoring strategies for the Americas Global Markets sectors related to credit / financing risk.
Collaborate with Global Markets business and corporate stakeholders as well as internal audit teams.

Utilize data analysis methodologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Internal Audits for credit / financing risks in the Americas Global Markets.

Monitor internal audit issues for the Americas Global Markets sector concerning credit / financing risks, and validate the execution of actions aimed at strengthening internal controls.

Deliver audit coverage for businesses across all asset classes within the Americas Global Markets, including securitized products, equities (including prime finance), structured and flow rates (including repos), structured and flow credit, as well as exotic and flow foreign exchange.


Skills and Experience:
A minimum of 3+ years of experience at a leading financial institution, risk consulting, or audit firm, focusing on either: Internal audit covering credit / financing risk domains, or
Credit risk-related coverage in front office operations or risk management.

A solid understanding of credit/financing risk and controls, along with risk governance practices at leading financial institutions. Familiarity with internal audit processes would be advantageous.
Proficient knowledge of various financing and derivative products.

Experience in credit due diligence, credit analysis, credit risk mitigation techniques, legal documentation for loans, derivatives, and securities financing transactions, credit ratings, and credit exposure monitoring.

Strong analytical abilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Capability to engage with global teams across different regions in a multinational environment.
