The Department of Justice is seeking a highly skilled Records and Information Management Specialist to join its team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that all records and information are properly managed, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with federal guidelines.

  • This position requires excellent analytical and program management skills to provide technical advice and assistance to the USAO staff regarding individual or case-related records management issues.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining file arrangement systems, filing procedures, and filing techniques of official records.
  • A strong understanding of electronic recordkeeping systems and the ability to enter information into these systems are essential requirements for this role.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to work on complex projects and assignments involving official records, including official electronic media.

Our ideal candidate has at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-5 level, performing tasks such as maintaining file arrangement systems, filing procedures, and filing techniques of official records.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, telework, life insurance, health benefits, and participation in the Federal Employees Retirement System.

This is a permanent, full-time position with a salary range of $54,203 - $70,466 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
