- Review repair orders and OEM procedures, parts required for repairs, perform 100% disassembly, and review file handlers estimate notes; follow repair guidelines as laid out by manufacturer; notify shop foreman of any supplemental repairs and need for reassessment with file handler.
- Perform correct repairs utilizing proper repair/replacement materials and proper corrosion protection.
- Road test vehicles when necessary to ensure quality repair.
- Maintain current knowledge of job and technical skills including OEM repair procedures and guidelines.
- Perform work as outlined on repair plans with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
- 100% teardown and inspect for additional or hidden repairs.
- Effective communication.
- Welding, suspension, framework experience a plus OR willing to learn/train.
- ICAR Certifications Preferred but not Required.
- Certifications listed above or equivalent experience and eagerness to improve.
- Valid driver's license.
- Proper tools to perform assigned tasks.
- This is a competitive flat rate pay position/ Pay dependent upon experience/training.
