Job Overview

Responsibilities
The Asset Performance Strategist will be responsible for:
  • Developing and implementing policies and practices to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Supporting asset performance-related activities for the T&D organization.
  • Conducting analysis on company-owned assets to prioritize maintenance and capital investments within the 10-year plan.
  • Creating new asset reliability practices and updating existing policies as needed.
  • Communicating plans, practices, and program updates with stakeholders.
  • Presenting to senior management, field operations staff, and regulatory agencies on asset performance issues.
  • Collaborating with teams to analyze and develop capital projects ensuring high reliability, risk mitigation, and customer service.
  • Facilitating collaborative improvement efforts with other entities.
  • Reviewing capital projects to ensure prudent investments and technical requirements.
  • Conducting reliability assessments and performance reviews with field operations and support staff.
  • Developing performance analysis on T&D assets and locations, identifying major issues and risks.
  • Guiding development functions with reliability and risk assessment tools.
  • Leading the development of new data science models in asset performance.
  • Designing automated reporting solutions.
  • Providing subject matter expertise and technical support to less experienced staff members.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, accounting, or a related field, along with a minimum of seven years of relevant experience and three years in a functional or supervisory role. Key skills include program design, teamwork, verbal and written communication, and ability to work with diverse levels of an organization.

Salary and Benefits
This exempt position offers a competitive salary range of $115,900 - $136,300, depending on qualifications and experience.
