Extension Agent, Bradley County, Family and Consumer Sciences Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Extension Agent to join our team in Bradley County. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating adult Family and Consumer Sciences educational programs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement educational programs for adults in Family and Consumer Sciences.
- Secure and train volunteer leaders and serve as a resource for Family and Consumer Sciences programs in the county.
- Meet with and advise leaders of organized Family and Consumer Sciences groups, including Family and Community Education Clubs.
- Provide leadership for a program of activities that meets the needs of all eligible clientele.
- Assume other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Sciences or a closely related major.
- Minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.7 on a 4.0 point scale or a Master's degree.
- Preference will be given to applicants with a MS Degree and/or work experience in a related field.
