The Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics is seeking a highly skilled Sports Medicine Specialist to join our team at Bradley Central High School in Cleveland, TN.

The ideal candidate will provide proper care and treatment to athletes in training or events at Bradley Central High School, working closely with medical staff and athletic officials to provide comprehensive services.

The Sports Medicine Specialist will be responsible for identifying, treating, and preventing injuries, as well as assisting with marketing and contractual agreements of athletic training services.

Benefits and Pay:

Starting salary minimum $52,200. Salary exempt position with range based upon qualifications and experience.

$750 annually in CEU funds combined with MedBridge subscription

Reimbursement available for mileage and cell phone

401(k) and 50% matching up to 6% of earnings

Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance

Employer-provided life insurance

16 paid vacation days annually accrued based on hours worked, increasing with length of service

7 paid holidays

Responsibilities and Duties:

Ability to properly assess, treat, and implement strategies to prevent athletic injuries.

Ability to develop, evaluate, and revise treatment plans based on changes in patient status and response to treatment as well as ability to properly instruct and demonstrate procedures.

Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse population of students, families, athletic officials, peers, and colleagues to provide comprehensive services.

Ability to communicate effectively and provide emotional reassurance and guidance to athletes, families, and coaches.

Requirements and Qualifications:

NPI Number

Athletic Training Licensure (or eligibility) in the State of Tennessee and Georgia

BOC Certification

Bachelor's degree (required)

Master's degree (preferred)

1 year experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer (preferred)

CPR/AED Certification from the American Heart Association

Bradley Central High School (Cleveland, TN)

Must be flexible to fill in at other locations if/when needed.
