As a Sales Growth Strategist, you will report to the Business Development Team Manager and concentrate on enhancing ClearSpan's presence in the pre-engineered metal building sector. This role involves establishing fruitful connections with engineers, architects, general contractors, and key players within the top companies in specific industries. Additional responsibilities include participating in trade shows, engaging with professional associations, networking, and developing targeted outreach lists for top prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate opportunities within ClearSpan's sectors. Forge enduring business relationships with influential industry figures to generate new leads that contribute to revenue growth.
  • Conduct research on organizations and individuals to uncover new business opportunities.
  • Manage and participate in industry trade shows, meetings, and events to capitalize on new lead opportunities.
  • Assist in creating innovative marketing materials to support growth in your designated sectors.
  • Become a subject matter expert in industry sectors and stay informed on industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement within specific product lines based on research and insights from industry experts.
  • Develop targeted outreach lists to support lead generation using best practices and third-party vendors.
  • Utilize HubSpot CRM as the primary tool for tracking all activities, outreach efforts, content, and analytics.
  • Preferred experience in the pre-engineered metal building industry.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

A minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (6 years related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience).

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to draft routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and address a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization. Ability to interpret various instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills:

Proficiency in Order Processing Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and the ability to type at a minimum of 30 wpm. Experience with EPICOR is a plus.
