Caregiver Qualifications:

  • Previous caregiving experience is a significant advantage, or a readiness to learn (training provided)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage emergencies
  • Reliable transportation with valid insurance and driver's license for client transport
  • Must pass a background check, drug screening, and work verification
  • Physical capability to lift up to 15 pounds and perform activities such as bending and kneeling

Compensation for Caregivers

  • Full-Time Hours Available
  • Pay Ranges from $17-$20 Depending on Skills, Experience, and Certification Level

Caregiver Job Requirements

  • Caregiver Certification is a plus, but not mandatory; we provide paid training
  • Minimum of 1 year of continuous adult caregiving or C.N.A. experience
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to handle stressful or emergency situations
  • Must have a reliable vehicle during work hours, along with valid insurance and driver's license
  • Must pass a background check, drug screening, and work verification

Responsibilities of the Caregiver

  • Provide individualized assistance to clients in the comfort of their homes.
  • Deliver exceptional in-home and companionship services as outlined in each client's personalized care plan.
  • Assist clients with mobility and transportation for appointments or outings.
  • Support clients with personal hygiene and care.
  • Help clients with physical therapy exercises.
  • Plan and prepare meals with client involvement when possible.
  • Shop for clients or accompany them during shopping trips.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks that clients are unable to complete.
  • Be a friendly and supportive companion.
  • Report any unusual incidents promptly.
  • Act swiftly and responsibly in emergencies.
