Athletic Trainer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Athletic Trainer to join our team at Penn State Health. As an Athletic Trainer, you will be responsible for providing athletic training services to student-athletes in the Central Dauphin School District. This includes providing preventative measures, standard immediate care procedures, clinical evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation/reconditioning of injuries.
Responsibilities- Provide athletic training services to student-athletes, including preventative measures and standard immediate care procedures.
- Conduct clinical evaluations, provide treatment, and develop rehabilitation/reconditioning plans for injured student-athletes.
- Collaborate with the team physician and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for student-athletes.
- Develop and implement injury prevention programs to reduce the risk of injury to student-athletes.
- Maintain accurate records of student-athlete injuries and treatment plans.
- Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or related field.
- Licensed in the state of employment as an Athletic Trainer.
- Current BOC certification.
- Current CPR certification.
- PIAA Weight Assessor Certification (can be obtained after employment).
- Minimum two (2) years experience preferred, however entry-level graduates with BOC certification are encouraged to apply.
