We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Athletic Trainer to join our team at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health. As an Athletic Trainer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients and athletes, while also assisting with administrative tasks and contributing to the growth and development of our sports medicine program.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients and athletes to determine the best course of treatment for injuries and illnesses.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to prevent and treat injuries, as well as to promote overall health and wellness.
- Collaborate with physical therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal outcomes.
- Provide education and guidance to patients and athletes on injury prevention, treatment, and management.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling, billing, and record-keeping.
- Contribute to the growth and development of our sports medicine program through outreach, education, and community engagement.
- Graduate of a CAATE-approved Athletic Training Program.
- Current certification as an Athletic Trainer, issued by the National Board of Certification (BOC).
- CPR Healthcare/BLS certification.
- Valid current driver's license.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- PA licensed or eligible as an Athletic Trainer.
- One year of experience in a traditional setting.
- Clinical experience in an outpatient office.
