Director of Clinical Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Assistant Director of Nursing at The Laurels of Bon Air.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing in planning, coordinating, and managing the nursing department. This includes providing infection prevention management and ensuring that adequate strategies are in place to verify the current licensure and credentials of nursing employees.
A key aspect of this role is monitoring and evaluating the quality and suitability of nursing care through guest rounds and maintaining proper charting and documentation of care and medications. Additionally, you will help develop and implement the written staffing plan and nursing schedule that reflects the needs of the guests and guest population.
This position requires strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to participate in the budget process and maintain the nursing supply, equipment, and nurse staffing budgets. A strong knowledge of applicable managed care, Medicare, and state Medicaid regulations, reimbursement systems, and methodology is also essential.

Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with management or supervisor experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing
- CPR certification
