Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

Careers Integrated Resources Inc is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform nuclear medicine procedures, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and operate gamma cameras. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including administering radiopharmaceuticals and operating gamma cameras.
  • Prepare patients for exams, including assisting with transportation and providing care during procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records, including patient information and procedure details.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.

Requirements:

  • At least one year of experience as a licensed technologist.
  • Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
  • Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.

Work Environment:

This role may involve working in one or more outpatient imaging facilities. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
