Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

INTEGRIS Health, a leading not-for-profit health system, is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK.

This role involves working with our Nuclear Medicine team to provide exceptional care to patients, utilizing advanced technology to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and complying with the guidelines of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, adhering to National Patient Safety Goals, and ensuring the department operates within established guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Orders and prepares radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Performs complex nuclear medicine procedures, utilizing computers to process and manipulate patient data
  • Maintains accurate records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Records patient results and performs quality control procedures on nuclear medicine equipment
  • Manipulates mathematical formulas to calculate radiopharmaceutical decay and biological half-lives
