Key Responsibilities

  • Prevent Unauthorized Access: Ensure the security of client properties by preventing unauthorized access and maintaining a visible presence.
  • Protect Assets: Prevent loss of property, equipment, or other assets by maintaining a secure environment and responding to potential threats.
  • Deter Vagrancy and Crime: Deter vagrants from loitering and vandalizing properties, and prevent criminal activity through proactive measures.
  • Review and Certify Timecards: Review and certify timecards for payroll purposes and publish work schedules for the site.
  • Perform Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management, including maintaining a clean and professional appearance.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required; law enforcement, military, and/or extensive security experience preferred.
  • Age: Minimum age of 24 years old required.
  • Personal Equipment: Provide own computer, high-speed internet, and cellphone to effectively perform job duties.
  • Communication: Have a reliable means of communication, including email and cell phone.
  • Transportation: Have a reliable means of transportation, including public or private transportation.
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid Driver's License.
  • Work Authorization: Have the legal right to work in the United States.
  • Language Skills: Ability to speak, read, and write English.
Qualifications
  • California Guard Registration Card: Mandatory for all applicants.
  • Law Enforcement, Military, and/or Security Experience: Preferred for this role.
  • Concierge-Level Customer Service Experience: Required for this role.
  • Problem Resolution Skills: Strong problem resolution skills required.
  • Cultural Competence: Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
  • Communication Skills: Solid verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Software and Smartphone Apps.
  • Task Management: Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Physical and Mental Demands: Work in environments and under conditions that may require the use of protective gear and devices, and/or awareness of personal safety.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Maintain composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.
  • Confidentiality: Exposure to sensitive and confidential information.
  • Physical Activity: Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
  • Lifting: Some lifting and moving up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.

Compensation

Starting at $21.50 per hour, depending on experience.
