Your primary responsibility will be to provide personalized care and assistance to clients, helping them with all aspects of their lives, from personal hygiene and dressing to scheduling medical appointments and managing daily routines.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one support to clients with disabilities, assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist clients with meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning
Accompany clients to medical appointments and provide transportation as needed
Assist clients with medication management and administration
Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
1 year of experience working with individuals with disabilities (preferred)
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
