Caregiver for Individuals with Disabilities in New London

At ABI Resources, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to individuals with disabilities in their homes and communities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in helping our clients maintain their independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming
• Provide companionship and social interaction to help clients feel connected and engaged
• Support clients with meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and other activities
• Assist clients with scheduling and reporting on medical and therapeutic appointments
• Provide a healthy and professional friendship to clients
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year of experience working with disabilities preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Proof of insurance required
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed
