Residential Recovery Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Residential Recovery Specialist to join our team at Sound Community Services, Inc. in a part-time capacity. The successful candidate will provide direct oversight and support services to chronically mentally disabled and/or co-occurring clients who are making the transition from institutional care to an independent living setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily oversight to all residents involved in the program
- Monitor residents' administering medications as scheduled
- Complete daily documentation as required by the program
- Facilitate monthly activities and groups based on life skills assessments
- Complete apartment checks to ensure residents are maintaining cleanliness/upkeep of the apartment
Requirements:
- High School diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of one (1) year of behavioral health/human services related experience
- Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills
- Current valid driver's license required
- CPR/First Aid certified or eligible
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and climb stairs
- Regularly required to walk, talk and/or hear
- Speaking and hearing ability should be sufficient to communicate effectively by phone or in person at normal volumes
