Job Summary

Rosecrance is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based therapies and compassionate care to individuals and families struggling with substance abuse and mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual, group, and family counseling sessions to support clients in their recovery journey.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address clients' unique needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families on topics such as addiction, recovery, and mental health.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Licensed as a Substance Abuse Counselor (SAC) in Wisconsin or hold a license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet Agency insurance requirements (designated positions).
