Position Summary:
The Flex Branch Operations Assistant plays a crucial role in addressing customer and branch inquiries under the guidance of the Flex Branch Supervisor and the designated Branch Manager. This position encompasses various clerical responsibilities and yard functions, including Loader Operation, to ensure accurate recording of incoming vehicles and maintenance throughout the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive customer support via mail, phone, and in-person interactions.
  • Manage order processing and data entry into the computer system.
  • Provide pricing and delivery information as needed.
  • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly.
  • Perform clerical tasks such as word processing and filing.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for auction day, ensuring all approvals are secured.
  • Adhere to established procedures under close supervision.
  • Demonstrate willingness to learn about automobile titling.
  • Assist with various office functions as required.
  • Conduct vehicle check-ins by documenting and organizing information on incoming vehicles.
  • Thoroughly clean vehicles to enhance their appearance for auction purposes.
  • Safely operate passenger vehicles within the facility.
  • Guide visitors appropriately or direct them to the right personnel for further assistance.
  • Possess experience in loader operation.
  • Report any violations of company policy to a supervisor or manager immediately.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Yard Attendants, Loader Operators, and Customer Service Representatives.

Qualifications:

  • Effective communication and interaction skills with customers and colleagues.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Strong time management abilities.
  • Capability to work independently.
  • Clear and professional communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Willingness to learn forklift operation.
  • General mechanical knowledge of various vehicle makes and models.
  • Preferred experience in the equipment rental or construction sectors.
  • Basic automotive repair skills are advantageous.
  • Previous forklift operation experience is a plus.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. and perform tasks involving bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.

Education and Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Loader Operator Certificate.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
