Providence Portland Medical Center seeks a skilled Nurse to lead our Respiratory Cardiac Care Unit. As a Charge Nurse, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality patient care and foster a collaborative team environment.

Job Summary:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff on the 2R unit
  • Ensure seamless patient care through effective communication and coordination with interdisciplinary teams
  • Maintain a safe and respectful work environment that promotes job satisfaction and employee engagement
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 1 year of Nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities

Work Environment:

This is a night shift position (7pm-7:30am, 3, 12-hour shifts per week) with rotating weekends. The 2R team is comprised of highly skilled nurses and CNAs who excel in teamwork and support.
