Job Summary and Responsibilities
The Clinical Nurse Educator plays a pivotal role in enhancing the clinical learning atmosphere. This professional is responsible for facilitating educational initiatives that promote high standards of patient care and professional development among nursing and clinical staff. Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging in continuous learning and development.
- Leading orientation and onboarding programs to enhance employee retention.
- Creating a supportive and effective learning environment.
- Assessing the professional development needs of staff in their specialty area.
- Guiding staff in identifying personal growth opportunities.
- Directing team members to resources for career advancement.
- Applying adult learning principles in program development.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
- A Master's degree in Nursing or Education is preferred; if not in Nursing, the undergraduate degree must be in Nursing.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an acute care setting is required.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice is mandatory.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Specialty certification is preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% within the market.
