The Vascular Surgery Clinical Nurse Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our unit, providing high-quality patient care, and promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.

As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
  • Participating in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit.
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Supporting a patient-first philosophy and engaging in service recovery when necessary.
  • Supporting the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies.
  • Providing recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
  • Assisting with staff scheduling and managing all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
  • Supporting proper inventory control and assisting with managing supplies and equipment.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of three (3) years of registered nurse experience in the Operating Room.
  • Vascular Surgery registered nurse experience is required.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
