About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at UnitedHealth Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients in a fast-paced medical office setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Clinical Support: Under the direction of providers, you will provide clinical support functions and professional nursing care to patients using established standards of clinical nursing care and procedures.
  • Assess Patient Needs: You will assess patients' needs, provide input into the plan of care, and implement prescribed interventions.
  • Coordinate Patient Care: You will coordinate patient care as directed by providers, RNs, and policies, including referrals, transition visits, medications, procedures, and follow-up.
  • Document Patient Information: You will accurately document patient assessment and care in the medical record in a timely manner.
  • Ensure Patient Safety: You will ensure a safe environment for patients and staff, adhering to OSHA standards and HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Licensure: Current and unrestricted State Vocational/Practical Nursing license required.
  • Certifications: Current BLS certification required.
  • Skills: Knowledge of medical terminology and medical office procedures, proficient computer skills, and effective communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • IV Certification: IV certification preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a medical setting preferred.
