Job Title: Controls Engineering Co-OpJob Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Controls Engineering Co-Op to join our team. As a Controls Engineering Co-Op, you will work closely with our experienced Controls Engineers to design and develop machine controls, troubleshoot manufacturing machinery, and improve machine productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop machine controls using various technologies, including PLCs, vision systems, drives, cobots, and robots.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing machinery and implement solutions to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Controls Engineers to develop and implement new machine controls and automation systems.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes to ensure high-quality products.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine safety and reduce downtime.
Requirements:
  • Satisfactory completion of freshman year with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • High school or entry-level AutoCAD knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to complete the cooperative education program in accordance with their College's or University's guidelines.
