Job Summary:

Auditor I/II Position at the University of Texas at Austin. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Auditor I/II to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct basic professional auditing of all University operations.
  • Assist in conducting or conducting engagements, including risk analysis, audit program development, and data collection and analysis.
  • Prepare thorough, well-organized, and self-explanatory work papers to support conclusions reached.
  • Develop and implement audit plans to achieve objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, management, business administration, computer science, or other relevant field.
  • Zero to two years of auditing experience with successful achievement of duties and proficiency in conducting audit fieldwork and audit techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare thorough, well-organized, and self-explanatory work papers to support conclusions reached.
  • Aptitude and willingness to begin leading projects to learn project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications as Certified Internal Auditor, or Certified Public Accountant.
  • Demonstrated ability to use TeamMate effectively.
