Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Material Handler to support our operations at Mount Indie, a leader in advanced communication and computing solutions for defense sectors.

Your primary responsibilities will include managing the receipt, storage, shipment, and distribution of equipment, materials, and supplies within our Production and System Integration Laboratories as well as our Warehouse. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills to track, log, verify, and compile reports on incoming materials, ensuring compliance with specifications and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute receiving and material movement tasks, including:
  • Receiving purchased and manufactured items, confirming identification codes and quantities.
  • Inspecting incoming products for adherence to Purchase Orders.
  • Documenting inspection results and updating business system software.
  • Communicating inspection outcomes and assisting in corrective action processes.
  • Preparing and affixing various property identification markers.
  • Recording inventory movements in the designated computer systems or physical records.
  • Maintaining oversight of production components and government assets.
  • Restocking inventory to maintain optimal levels, documenting and replenishing returned items, and investigating any inventory discrepancies.
  • Processing standard and urgent inventory requests as well as manufacturing kits.
  • Packaging, labeling, and preparing items for shipment.
  • Inputting data to ensure compliance with configuration management across various software systems.
  • Assisting in adherence to ISO 9001 standards and engaging in continuous improvement initiatives.
