Key Responsibilities

  • Threat Analysis and Assessment
    • Conduct thorough threat assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
    • Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize risk and ensure operational effectiveness.
  • Operational Planning and Support
    • Support the development of operational plans and strategies to achieve business objectives.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation and execution.
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Prepare and present briefings and reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
    • Develop and maintain effective communication channels to ensure timely and accurate information sharing.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, or Engineering.
    • U.S. Citizen with DoD Top Secret clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain DoD clearance.
    • Military experience, particularly in Marine Corps Security Forces, Navy Surface Warfare/Expeditionary Warfare, Army Special Operations or Intelligence.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Exceptional writing, presentation, and meeting facilitation abilities.
    • Strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to interpret, draft, and implement DoD and service level policy.

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced Education and Experience
    • Advanced degree in Social Sciences, Operations Research, Natural Sciences, or other discipline.
    • Understanding of asymmetric threats and risk assessment methodologies encompassing cyber, human, and physical elements.
  • Additional Skills and Abilities
    • Experience conducting operational assessments using live, virtual, or constructive methods.
    • Familiarity with Service/Joint Operational Mission Planning Process.
