Calibration Specialist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled calibration specialist to join our team at Jacobs, working on our Research Laboratory Support (RLS) contract with the U.S. EPA Center for Environmental Measurement & Modeling (CEMM). As a key member of our Fabrication and Calibration team, you will be responsible for collecting calibration data, calibrating sensors, and analyzing data using statistical tools in MS Excel.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Collect Calibration Data: Collect calibration data by prescribed EPA standard operating procedures, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
  • Calibrate Sensors: Calibrate sensors that measure flow rate, pressure, temperature, relative humidity, and air velocity, as well as balances, weight sets, pipettes, and gas emission monitors.
  • Analyze Data: Reduce, analyze, and interpret calibration data using statistical tools in MS Excel, reporting results and generating calibration certificates in conformance with internal procedures and ISO-17025 standard guidelines.
What We Offer

A competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, based on relevant experience and qualifications, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
