Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Channel Personnel Services. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze equipment performance to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Cost Estimating and Engineering Proposals: Develop and provide cost estimates and engineering proposals for routine equipment replacement and maintenance projects.
  • Technical Support and Training: Provide technical support and training to production and maintenance teams to ensure they have the necessary skills to operate and maintain electrical equipment.
  • Equipment Design and Development: Design and develop new electrical systems and equipment to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and operating permits, as well as NERC standards.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage small capital projects, including design, specification, and layout of equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a power generation or manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, cost estimating, and project management.
