Job Title: Electrical General Superintendent

Join TIC - The Industrial Company, a subsidiary of Kiewit Corporation, as an Electrical General Superintendent. This role is based in The Woodlands, TX, or the Energy Corridor in the greater Houston area.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical General Superintendent to manage and direct project teams, providing communication, coordination, and follow-up to meet project goals and objectives. The successful candidate will ensure project scope, work, schedule, and budgets are clearly defined and understood.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and direct project teams to meet project goals and objectives.
  • Establish project procedures consistent with contractual documents and quality plans.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients, making adjustments as necessary to comply with client needs within contractual obligations.
  • Ensure all work products are consistent with industry standards and in accordance with good engineering practice and applicable codes.
  • Provide ongoing training and mentoring to entry and mid-level engineers to promote employee development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a similar discipline from a four-year college or university (desired).
  • 10+ years' experience in the Oil, Gas, & Chemical construction industry, with at least 5+ years in a supervisory role.
  • EPC related project experience working with engineers in an office environment and managing field installations is a plus.
  • Competent in the use of computer software applications used for project controls and administration, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
  • Advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, engineering drawings, and other documents.
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently supervise and evaluate employee performance.
