Job Summary

Eagle Crusher Company Inc is seeking a skilled Welder to join our night shift team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with experience in setting up and welding structural forms parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints and machine drawings to determine equipment and plan layout.
  • Perform laying out, cutting, bending, forming, and assembly operations using fixtures and positioners.
  • Verify conformance of work pieces to specifications.
  • Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding.
  • Lay out, position, align, and fit components together.
  • Set up equipment and weld parts using arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc, or gas welding equipment.
  • Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
  • Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure.
  • Operate overhead crane and/or forklift as needed.
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three years' experience doing set-up welds and ability to pass a 2G weld test.
  • Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding process specifications, and welding symbols.
  • Knowledgeable of different kinds of metal and their properties.
  • Experience operating a forklift and/or overhead crane preferred.
  • Ability to commit to flexible schedule and prompt arrival for shifts.
