YOUR ROLE:

We are in search of a driven sales and relationship management leader to enhance our team and assist in expanding and nurturing existing partnerships, boosting new sales, and strengthening connections with strategic allies within the RIA ecosystem. In this client-facing role, you will work closely with the firm’s Leadership Team and all other departments (Sales/Marketing, Compliance, Trading & Investments, and Operations) to create and deliver an exceptional experience for advisors and prospects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide guidance and development to the Sales and Marketing Teams.
  • Design and execute a consultative sales strategy that aligns with our ideal client profile and fosters growth.
  • Ensure the sales process and deliverables are established and effectively implemented to support a scalable and repeatable client experience.
  • Lead the development of a value-driven, consultative engagement strategy for our current advisors.
  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of the RIA, IBD, and IAR models, along with the key industry challenges and opportunities within these sectors. Ability to articulate how our wealth management and platform capabilities address these industry issues and seize market opportunities.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of consulting at the executive level, delivering strategic solutions, and driving engagement and growth.
  • Show expertise in sales processes, sales funnel management, CRM utilization, and other prospecting/lead generation tools and technologies.
  • Collaborate effectively with Marketing to develop and execute prospect campaigns and follow-up engagement.
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships and executive relationships (Custodians, Industry Consultants, Investment Management partners, etc.).
  • Represent the firm at industry conferences, social events, and other client/prospect engagement opportunities to enhance brand visibility and positioning with target audiences.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of experience in sales and/or relationship management within the RIA/Wealth Management sector, with a proven record of success.
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience in the RIA/Wealth Management industry, demonstrating a successful track record.
  • In-depth knowledge of the RIA, IBD, and IAR models and their economics, along with key industry challenges and opportunities.
  • Familiarity with insurance and other commission-based solutions.
  • Possess executive presence, professionalism, strong business acumen, and a process-oriented mindset.
  • Embrace a consultative sales approach.
  • A hands-on, action-oriented leader with a strong desire to be a player/coach.
  • Highly collaborative internally and externally, across the RIA industry and with our family of companies.
  • Strong understanding of the TAMP/platform business model, including competitors, trends, strategies, and key differentiators.
  • Experience working with RIA custodial models.
  • A client advocate, passionate about enhancing the client and prospect experience, while fostering a culture of humility, trust, and teamwork.
