Estrella Mountain Community College (EMCC) is seeking a Student Services Specialist (short-term) to deliver comprehensive in-person and electronic support services at the welcome center. Responsibilities include:
- Providing customer service and support for enrollment services and general advisement.
- Managing inquiries through various channels and assisting with appointment scheduling.
- Facilitating academic advising sessions and connecting students with essential resources.
- Maintaining accurate information and documentation to support student success.
- Participating in departmental meetings and professional development.
Applicants must possess an Associate's degree and one year of relevant experience, or a high school diploma with three years of equivalent experience in student services or related fields.
Desired Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include experience in a college environment, advising students, providing customer service, and familiarity with student success strategies. Bilingual communication skills are a plus.
Special Working Conditions
This position requires on-campus work and may involve standard hours with occasional evenings or weekends.
