Role Summary: The Sand Management Operator is tasked with the supervision and operation of sand management systems at oil and gas lease sites. This position emphasizes the safe and efficient handling, transportation, and disposal of sand and other particulate materials linked to drilling and production activities. The operator is responsible for ensuring that sand management equipment, such as sand dumps, operates effectively to uphold operational efficiency while adhering to environmental and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Duties:
Operate sand management machinery including sand dumps, conveyors, and related equipment.
Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure equipment functionality.
Coordinate with maintenance teams for significant repairs or overhauls.
Oversee the efficient loading, transport, and disposal of sand and particulate matter from lease sites.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies regarding sand disposal.
Monitor sand levels and usage to enhance disposal processes and minimize downtime.
Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
Maintain accurate records of sand management activities and equipment status.
Report safety hazards or operational issues to the supervisor promptly.
Collaborate with team members, including lease operators and field technicians, to coordinate sand management tasks.
Minimum Qualifications:
Prior experience in Lease Operator, Flowback, or a similar role focused on sand management is preferred.
Knowledge of oil and gas production operations is essential.
Willingness to work nights every other month as part of the rotating schedule.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent; some college or technical training is advantageous.
Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record is required.
Must successfully complete all conditional job offer requirements, including background checks, drug screenings, and fitness assessments.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs.
Walking, bending, and stooping are necessary.
Must wear personal protective equipment, including respirators.
Must respond to visual and audible alarms.
