The estimated annual salary for this position is $76,724-$94,993, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

As an Integrated Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC), you will provide trauma-informed and evidence-based care within our Primary Care team. This role focuses on short-term counseling and consultation to address social, behavioral, and emotional factors influencing physical health.

You will work closely with the Mental Health Program Manager to provide comprehensive behavioral services, including screenings, consultation, psychoeducation, brief assessments, interventions, referrals, and care coordination with individuals, families, and groups across the lifespan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide trauma-informed and evidence-based counseling services within a Primary Care setting
  • Conduct brief assessments and interventions, facilitate individual and group counseling, and provide referrals as needed
  • Coordinate with community partners and operate within a fully integrated provider care team
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, adhering to clinic policies, procedures, and local, state, and federal guidelines
  • Foster a supportive, trauma-informed, and growth-centered approach with patients, staff, and the community

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field to meet the definition of a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)
  • Ability to become registered with the Mental Health and Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO) as a Qualified Mental Health Professional or hold an Unrestricted Oregon License and credentials as an LCSW, CSWA, LPC, LPC Registered Associate, LMFT, PsyD, or Ph.D.
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention Comprehensive training class completed within 6 months of hire and recertify prior to the expiration date
