We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Piedmont HealthCare. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner
  • Prepare equipment and supplies for blood collection
  • Identify and label specimens for laboratory testing
  • Conduct laboratory tests on specimens as needed
  • Enter data into computer systems for tracking and analysis
  • Assist donors before, during, and after donation
  • Clean and sterilize equipment, instruments, and work areas
  • Inventories supplies and places orders as assigned by office
  • Maintain patient confidentiality
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Phlebotomy Certification required
  • Minimum of one year work experience, preferably in healthcare
  • Phlebotomy experience helpful
Working Conditions:

As a Phlebotomist at Piedmont HealthCare, you will be working in a fast-paced laboratory environment. You will be exposed to communicable diseases, sharp instruments, bodily fluids, and cleaning chemicals. You must be able to walk to various settings and bend and reach. You must also be able to lift up to 50 pounds and help with patient transport and transfer.
