Experience Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of dedicated experience with Blue Yonder's Transportation Management Systems, Warehouse Management Systems, or Warehouse Labor Management systems, either as a client or as a consultant.
  • Experience with other leading supply chain planning solutions such as HighJump, Manhattan, or SAP is advantageous.
  • Preferred background in management consulting or Supply Chain Centers.
  • Experience in Manufacturing, Retail, or 3PL sectors is desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of Supply Chain processes related to Transportation Management.
  • Hands-on experience with TMS applications (e.g., Red Prairie, i2, or advanced TMS applications from other vendors).
  • Understanding of configuration versus customization complexities within their area of expertise.
  • Proficient in process mapping.
  • Able to design functional solutions and business processes for large or complex clients.
  • Proven track record in identifying business improvement opportunities and proposing relevant solutions.
  • Basic SQL knowledge and familiarity with programming concepts.
  • Comprehensive understanding of cloud concepts.
  • Experience in sales/pre-sales activities and collaboration with Product Development.
  • Strong project management skills (certification preferred) and mentoring capabilities.

Core Responsibilities:

As the end-to-end architect in the execution vertical, with a focus on Blue Yonder Transportation Management Systems, you will:

  • Act as a solution expert for transformational projects and programs.
  • Assist in identifying change management needs for global or regional program implementations.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations for users, management, and executive audiences.
  • Guide and influence clients on industry best practices and process methodologies.
  • Estimate task-level implementation efforts and recommend appropriate roles for execution.
  • Assess business needs that extend beyond standard solutions and evaluate integration complexities.
  • Facilitate discussions on product functionality and architecture across the suite of products.
  • Provide level 3 non-technical support during the implementation phase and ensure data integrity.
  • Identify and highlight incremental revenue opportunities with existing clients/projects.
  • Serve as a functional liaison in key meetings among project stakeholders.
  • Communicate business cases regarding customer-specific needs for product functionality and enhancements.
  • Ensure effective knowledge transfer with key customer project teams.
  • Stay updated on new releases and functionalities.
  • Guide the development and execution of test scripts to ensure software meets business objectives.
  • Understand how Blue Yonder transportation solutions can be configured to optimize customer business processes.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers in planning efforts and creating detailed project tasks.
  • Provide insights on industry best practices and process methodologies.
  • Lead business process analysis and develop functional specifications for implementation.
  • Manage complex customer engagements that involve multiple products.
  • Ensure seamless integration between technical and functional requirements throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Communicate application capability gaps to Product Marketing and Development.
  • Develop and validate test plans and scripts to ensure software meets customer objectives.
  • Create and modify procedural and system documentation throughout the project.
  • Verify that the system meets required business functions and maintains data integrity.
  • Support communication of business cases to Product Management regarding trends for future enhancements.
  • Deliver presentations for users, management, and executive audiences.
  • Ensure knowledge transfer is conducted with key customer project teams.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Blue Yonder and competitor software.
  • Contribute to pre-sales activities including demonstrations and documentation support.

Required Skills:

  • Strong business analysis skills with an understanding of statistical algorithms and inventory optimization concepts.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for various audiences, with strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Educational Background:

  • Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or Operations Research is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree with relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of an advanced degree.
